Hill v Riley - June 11, 2019 - 343370
This is an appeal of the trial court’s grant of a PPO involving internet messages and text messages from online phone numbers. The Respondent denied that she was the person who had sent the text messages from the online phone number and denied that she was the one to have hacked into his facebook page.
The COA found that the trial court did not abuse its discretion when he connected the text messages to the respondent due to the respondent’s use of a specific nickname for the petitioner’s girlfriend that she had used in other correspondence.
