Buchanan v Crisler – DN 337720 – February 22, 2018
This was a stalking PPO brought by an apparently disgruntled prior court appointed criminal defendant client of the petitioner. In this case the Respondent had made numerous online post regarding the Petitioner and had been showing up at events that the Petitioner was present at. This case surrounds the application of the First Amendment to PPO cases and discusses when the Court can prevent online posts and the procedure the court must undertake.
